The mission of the Teen Court Association of Texas is to:
  1. Providing continuing education and training for those operating Teen Court;
  2. Maintain a communication network between existing Teen Courts;
  3. Develop consistency between programs;
  4. Promote the development of new Teen Courts; and
  5. Reduce juvenile crime.

The goals of the Teen Court Association of Texas include:

  1. Providing continuing education to coordinators across Texas;
  2. Offer a forum for networking and the exchange of ideas related to Teen Courts;
  3. Education youth in order to foster civil engagement and to encourage emotional and social well-being;
  4. Reduce juvenile crime;
  5. Build coalitions to increase the effectiveness and consistency of programs;
  6. Promote and publicize Teen Courts; and to
  7. Encourage and assist in the development of Teen Courts in Texas.
